You've been asking God for clarity.
You haven't been confused. You've been too busy to be still.
This retreat isn't a finish line. But you already have what it takes to hear Him: a called heart, a willing spirit, a hunger for more than performing, and an ache to honor God.
So, I'm not going to waste my breath (and your time) pretending you need convincing that God has already spoken over you. He has. You'll surrender to Him.... eventually.
I can guide you there faster.
The Encounter is a retreat for Jesus-loving women who are done living on their own strength and ready to walk out a Spirit-led life.
In four days, you will experience a lifestyle that allows you to:
Be Beloved (rest in an identity that isn't earned—it's already yours)
Be Known (know what He said and finally sit in a room that already sees you)
Be Called (get clear on your next faithful step and on what obedience looks like)
In order to move from striving to Spirit-led, you need...
...Faith that gets you clarity and quiets the noise long enough for you to actually hear Him.
...Alignment that puts peace in your calendar, your relationships, and your yes back in order under Him.
...Surrender that gets you purpose the moment you stop running ahead of Him and let Him lead.
Every moment at The Encounter retreat is designed around these three tools — not concepts to learn, but a way to actually live.
I'm not here to sell you into a retreat. This is intentional time with God — and you weigh decisions like this all the time. 'Is this worth my time, my seed, my four days away?'
But this isn't just a purchase. It's a seed. Scripture calls it sowing. 'Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.' (Galatians 6:7 ESV).
You're not paying for a spiritual getaway experience. You're sowing into an encounter with God.
Here's what it's going to take:
Your full presence. Living a surrendered life that God has called you to isn't casual. I've done this work, and it takes intentional focus and total commitment to fully follow Christ.
A time investment. You have to put in the hours upfront to reach a place of stillness, not double-mindedness. Scripture calls this sowing in due season—and once it's done, you're rewarded with His trust, His wisdom, and His fruit.
A financial investment. This is a premium, all-inclusive, Spirit-filled retreat experience. Scripture calls us to count the cost (Luke 14:28) — and this cost is nothing compared to years spent searching without answers. Did I mention the joy, the deliverance, the abundance you're leaving on the table?
The Experience
Four-day stay at a high-end luxury property in Asheville, NC.
Your own private suite and bath with a view.
Ground transportation, fully covered upon your arrival. You get there, we handle the rest. *Flights aren't included, but once you land, you're taken care of: airport pickup, drop-off, and valet for your entire stay.
Every meal taken care of, plus snacks.
Intentional moments woven through the retreat: worship, stillness, and time that's simply yours and His.
A professional photo shoot, because some moments are worth keeping.
Your choice of spa treatment.
A room of women who love God and are growing intimately in relationship with Him.
The rest, we'll let you experience for yourself.
Here's what you're going to get out of it:
Why you haven't heard Him clearly. If you love God but feel stuck, it may be the noise crowding out His voice or you may not be living in accordance with His word. I will help you figure out what it is.
Where your time, attention, and energy actually belong and where to stop wasting time. No more stretching yourself in a thousand different directions (wasting your resources) and calling it obedience. We are honing in on the devotional principles that are simple to do.
The exact steps to walk out true freedom in Him, plus the support, systemized breakdowns, and accountability to do it.
Biblical counsel from me, Xaye Faith Rich. As your sister in Christ, if I see something for you or hear something on your behalf, I'll speak truth in love — because you don't have time for empty encouragement. This is not performance. It is our biblical responsibility for mutual edification.
A community with other Jesus-loving women who are as serious as you are. No casual Christians, no bending His rules, no just getting by. This is God's standard.
A real encounter with the Spirit of God, as long as you are willing to do the work.
If this is not you, no problem. If something is stirring on the inside and you think the benefits are worth the investment, keep reading.
Because I anticipate getting hundreds of applications, though only 10 spots are available, I want to be very clear about who this retreat is for.
You're all in to live a surrendered life, the way God has intended — mentally, emotionally, ready to actually walk it out, and not just talk about it (no exceptions).
You're successful by the world's measure — you know there's more He's waiting to give you, and you don't yet have a clear plan for how to get there.
You're ready to be still and let God lead — not perform for applause.
You want real accountability — someone who'll speak the truth over you, not just cheer you on.
You're done researching and ready to be obedient.
You need convincing that God is real before you show up. (Don't worry. I have other resources for you, but this retreat isn't it).
You're looking for a spa weekend or a pretty backdrop for content.
You want someone to tell you what you want to hear instead of the truth about where you actually are.
You've been in other communities before and never actually did the work, showed up for the sessions, or interact with the other participants.
You're not ready to be still — you want the busyness to feel productive a little longer.
You want an easy, non-confrontational life — no transformation, just enough to say you showed up for God. Nothing wrong with that. But this retreat is for women ready to give everything to Him, so they can be renewed by His Spirit.
You must be willing to invest time, money, and mental toughness in the refinement of your God-led lifestyle. I can help you figure out what to prioritize, but you have to be willing to take action.

For twelve years, I ran — a non-believer chasing everything but God. Then His love brought me home, and I came to myself. Every hard season since has humbled me, gotten me out of my own way, and taught me to honor Him. It's shaped a life of peace, gratitude, fruit, and a changed heart. God redeemed every flaw, every mistake — and now I get to spend my life helping His GALs find that same freedom and fruit, in Jesus' name.
