The Encounter is a retreat for Jesus-loving women who are done living on their own strength and ready to walk out a Spirit-led life.
In four days, you will experience a lifestyle that allows you to:

Be Called (get clear on your next faithful step and on what obedience looks like)

Every moment at The Encounter retreat is designed around these three tools — not concepts to learn, but a way to actually live.
Why This Retreat?
I'm not here to sell you into a retreat. This is intentional time with God — and you weigh decisions like this all the time. 'Is this worth my time, my seed, my four days away?'
But this isn't just a purchase. It's a seed. Scripture calls it sowing. 'Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.' (Galatians 6:7 ESV).
You're not paying for a spiritual getaway experience. You're sowing into an encounter with God.
Here's what it's going to take:
Your full presence. Living a surrendered life that God has called you to isn't casual. I've done this work, and it takes intentional focus and total commitment to fully follow Christ.
A time investment. You have to put in the hours upfront to reach a place of stillness, not double-mindedness. Scripture calls this sowing in due season—and once it's done, you're rewarded with His trust, His wisdom, and His fruit.
A financial investment. This is a premium, all-inclusive, Spirit-filled retreat experience. Scripture calls us to count the cost (Luke 14:28) — and this cost is nothing compared to years spent searching without answers. Did I mention the joy, the deliverance, the abundance you're leaving on the table?
The Experience
Four-day stay at a high-end luxury property in Asheville, NC.
Your own private suite and bath with a view.
Ground transportation, fully covered upon your arrival. You get there, we handle the rest. *Flights aren't included, but once you land, you're taken care of: airport pickup, drop-off, and valet for your entire stay.
Every meal taken care of, plus snacks.
Intentional moments woven through the retreat: worship, stillness, and time that's simply yours and His.
A professional photo shoot, because some moments are worth keeping.

Here's what you're going to get out of it:
Why you haven't heard Him clearly. If you love God but feel stuck, it may be the noise crowding out His voice or you may not be living in accordance with His word. I will help you figure out what it is.
Where your time, attention, and energy actually belong and where to stop wasting time. No more stretching yourself in a thousand different directions (wasting your resources) and calling it obedience. We are honing in on the devotional principles that are simple to do.
The exact steps to walk out true freedom in Him, plus the support, systemized breakdowns, and accountability to do it.
Biblical counsel from me, Xaye Faith Rich. As your sister in Christ, if I see something for you or hear something on your behalf, I'll speak truth in love — because you don't have time for empty encouragement. This is not performance. It is our biblical responsibility for mutual edification.

You want real accountability — someone who'll speak the truth over you, not just cheer you on.
You're done researching and ready to be obedient.
Please don't apply if:
You need convincing that God is real before you show up. (Don't worry. I have other resources for you, but this retreat isn't it).
You're looking for a spa weekend or a pretty backdrop for content.
You want someone to tell you what you want to hear instead of the truth about where you actually are.
You've been in other communities before and never actually did the work, showed up for the sessions, or interact with the other participants.
You're not ready to be still — you want the busyness to feel productive a little longer.
You want an easy, non-confrontational life — no transformation, just enough to say you showed up for God. Nothing wrong with that. But this retreat is for women ready to give everything to Him, so they can be renewed by His Spirit.
You must be willing to invest time, money, and mental toughness in the refinement of your God-led lifestyle. I can help you figure out what to prioritize, but you have to be willing to take action.
